Schoodick, Maine

(September 16, 1797 to September 5, 1810)

Schoodick was formerly known as Brewer's, and was renamed Robbinston.

Schoodick, District of Maine (Massachusetts), February 14, 1804, Schoodick in arc without year date townmark, rated 75 cents due as three time the 25¢ rate for distances over 500 miles to New York, New York.  No contents, but internal docketing of January 5, 1804, and Britannia with crown watermark indicate that the letter likely originated in the Maritime Provinces.

Schoodick, District of Maine (Massachusetts), March 19, 1807, Schoodick in dotted circle townmark, rated due 10¢ for distance of 40 to 90 miles to Chandlersville, Maine.
